🔼Multiplier Points
Multiplier Points are rewards for long-term stakers of FXDX and Escrowed FXDX.
When you stake FXDX or Escrowed FXDX, you receive Multiplier Points every second at a fixed rate of 100% APR. Ex: If 100 FXDX staked for one year would earn 100 Multiplier Points.
Multiplier points can be staked by users to receive fee rewards when they press the "Compound" button on the Earn page.
Each staked multiplier point increases the Annual Percentage Rates (APRs) at the same rate as a regular FXDX token. When a user unstakes FXDX or Escrowed FXDX tokens, a proportionate amount of Multiplier Points is burned accordingly. For instance, if a user has staked 100 FXDX and earned 50 Multiplier Points, and then decides to unstake 30 FXDX, 15 Multiplier Points will be burned. The burn will apply to both staked and unstaked Multiplier Points.
The Earn page displays an individual's "Boost Percentage," which represents the boost amount received from their Multiplier Points.
For instance, suppose a user has $1,000 worth of FXDX and esFXDX, and the USDC APR is 20%. In that case, their annualized rewards would be $200. If they also have an amount of Multiplier Points equivalent to 20% of their total staked FXDX and Escrowed FXDX, their "Boost Percentage" would be displayed as 20%, and they would receive an additional $40 of USDC rewards annually.
